Hazel Badgett, 85, passed away on June 25, 2013 in Louisville, KY. She is survived by her husband, Rudy Badgett of 67 years. She is preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Badgett.
Hazel is survived by her husband; son, David Badgett; daughters, Doris Ellis, Carol Childress, Linda Miller; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jerry and Jimmy Nichols; sisters, Pauline Ankeny, Norma Forest, Berdena Kelsey, and Sue Morris.
Hazel was buried on Friday, June 28, 2013, at Resthaven Cemetery with a private family service.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made in the memory of Hazel to the Alzheimer's Association, Kaden Tower, 6100 Dutchmans Lane, Suite 401, Louisville, KY 40205.
