Harvey Mason Franklin

Harvey Mason Franklin, 73, of Prospect, Kentucky, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, September 16, 2020.

He was born on June 6, 1947 in Tyronza, Arkansas to the late Calvin and Ruth Franklin. Harvey graduated from Trumann High School in Trumann, AR and received a Master's Degree from Arkansas State University. He also held a CPA certification in Arkansas. Harvey proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1967 to 1971 with a tour in Vietnam. He received several awards and medals during his service, and was one of the few who were promoted meritoriously during wartime. Harvey was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, but his true enjoyment in life was spending time with grandchildren and family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Peggy S. Burnette; and brother, David Franklin.

Harvey is survived by his loving Wife of 50 years, Mary Ann Franklin; daughters, Tara F. (Heath) Ebert, and Tami Jo (Troy) Potts; grandchildren, Sarah "Gracie" G. Ebert, Kayla Ann Potts, Heath Ian Ebert, Haley Jo Potts, Hannah Faith Ebert, and Isaiah Mason Ebert; and sister, Ann (David) Smith.

The family will have a private memorial service.
