Harry Glaze

Harry E. Glaze, 78, of Elizabeth, Indiana, passed away on May 31, 2012. A U.S. Navy veteran, Harry was a long-time member of American Legion Post #379 and retired in maintenance from the South Harrison School Corporation.

Harry was born on November 6, 1933 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Harry L. and Lillie (Davis) Glaze. He was also preceded in death by his son, Edward Allen Glaze; stepson, Clayton Keown; and sister, Martha Williams.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Shirley Mae (Geary) Glaze; sons, H. Richard Glaze (Tina) and Alvin Glaze; stepdaughters, Beverly Greazkowski; Fredia Hensley (Lenny); sister, Betty Fouts; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.

His Visitation will be 11 to 6 PM Sunday, June 3, 2012 and from 12 to 2 PM on Monday at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 2 PM on Monday at the funeral home with burial and military honors to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth, Indiana.
