Harold James "Hippy" Toles, age 50 of Louisville, Kentucky formerly of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022.
Hippy was born on August 23, 1972, in Omaha, Nebraska. Hippy spent his childhood in Omaha, Nebraska. In later years he moved to Seattle where he met his wife Raena. From Seattle, Hippy and Raena relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, Laughlin, Nevada and resided in Louisville, Kentucky where they raised their son Armon.
Everyone that knows Hippy would agree that he was a great Chess, Spades and Domino's player, and he knew it. Hippy was the life of the party and had a bigger than life personality. He lived every day like it was his last day. Hippy's family and friends have said that he's dependable, trustworthy and a loyal friend.
Hippy is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Raena (Hughes) Toles; children, Harold James Toles Jr., Calvon Creighton, Tierra Martin, DeJanna Creighton, Jamon Toles, Armon Toles and Sydney Hughes and Robert Darden. Hippy was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to everyone he knew.
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm- 1:00 pm, Monday, January 16, 2023 with a celebration of "Hippy's" life at 1:00 pm, all at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243.
