Harold George Sherlock

Harold George "Harry" Sherlock, 74, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023. He was a talented mechanic and enjoyed both cooking and watching football. Harry had also been an avid outdoorsman that liked to go hunting and fishing.

He was born on January 11, 1949, in Bronx, New York, to Robert and Dorothy (Steinmann) Sherlock. In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his sisters, Bobby Scollo and Wendy Giannone; and grandson, Matthew Holland.

Harry is survived by his wife, Audrey (Kremer) Sherlock; children, Elaina Holland (Scott), Stacie Dehertoghe, and Robert Sherlock; siblings, Bunny Moore, Robert Sherlock, and David Sherlock (Theresa); grandchildren, Aaron Holland, Bailey Sherlock, Tawnya Downes (Travis), Sammy Dehertoghe, and Derek Dehertoghe; great-grandchildren, Ashton, Colton, Kaysen, and Skylee; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 14, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with his funeral service taking place at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery in New Albany.
