Harold Rodney Hardwick
June 29, 1936 — August 20, 2016
Harold Rodney Hardwick, 80, of Louisville, Kentucky formerly of Orlando and Ocala, Florida passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at his home. He was born in Paris, Illinois on June 29, 1936 to the late Harold Eugene and Helen Ruth Hardwick. He was retired from the United States Army with over 22 years of service and a member of Bethany United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Myrna Hardwick and a sister, Elaine Reardon.
Harold is survived by his children, Melody (Fonzy) Medley and Randy (Glenann) Hardwick; three grandchildren, Holly (Brandon) Hicks, Kyle (Amanda) Medley and Clayton Medley; and three great-grandchildren, Jordan, Amaya and Malcolm.
A funeral ceremony will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home-Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway with visitation from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. also on Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy are suggested to his church, Bethany United Methodist Church.
