Harold Dewitt

Harold Dewitt, passed away on March 1, 2025, at the age of 77, with his family by his side. Born on January 6, 1948, Harold dedicated over 22 years of his life to his career as a diesel mechanic, earning a reputation as a quiet yet strong man, known for his unwavering work ethic.

Harold's life was marked by not only his hard work but also by his love for his family. He was a cherished husband to his wife of nearly 32 years, Mary Dewitt. Harold was proud of his daughter, Holly Dewitt and her fiancé, Kyle, and delighted in being a grandfather to Gunner Burks and Kyleigh Burks, who brought him immense joy.

In his personal life, Harold found fulfillment in his hobbies and interests, particularly enjoying time in his garage where he showcased his talent for building and repairing motorcycles. He had a special affinity for handiwork, often spending hours cutting grass and tending to his yard, taking pride in the upkeep of his home.

Though his journey through life included many ups and downs, Harold faced them all with a quiet strength that spoke volumes of his character. He is preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Kimberly Dewitt, whose memory remains a cherished part of his legacy.

Harold will be remembered as a dedicated man and a hard worker, whose strength left an indelible mark on all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. 

Cremation was chosen following Harold's wishes.
