Harold “Buck” Graybeal, 84, passed away on July 17, 2024.
Buck was born in Campbellsville Kentucky to the late Bruce and Nellie Graybeal.
He spent the majority of his life in Louisville Kentucky where he attended Southern High School prior to serving in the United States Navy as a submariner.
After serving in the Navy, Buck returned to Louisville and married his now wife of 62 years, Carolyn Ann (Patterson) Graybeal. Buck and Carolyn have been blessed with three children, Todd Graybeal (Joan) of Nicholasville Kentucky , Tracey Denney (Joel) of Lancaster South Carolina and Troy Graybeal (Beth Ann) of Billings Montana, six grandchildren, Elise (Denney) Clark (Ashby), Andrew Graybeal (Caroline), Aaron Graybeal (Karsyn), Henry Graybeal, Eileen Graybeal, Benjamin Graybeal and three great grandchildren, Hollis Clark, Micah Graybeal, Emma Graybeal.
He was an active member of Southeast Christian Church where he served as a deacon and retired after a long career with Ford Motor Company. He loved spending time with family and friends in the outdoors and particularly enjoyed boating, camping, fishing, hunting, playing golf, wood working and cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats.
His legacy as a faithful husband, providing father, loving grandfather, proud great grandfather, loyal friend and quick-witted jokester will long be remembered by those privileged to have known him.
As a professed Christ follower he now joins his Savior and a host of family and friends who preceded him into their heavenly home.
Go rest high on that mountain until we get to see you again!
We love you Bucky, Dad, Pappy!
