Hannibal Woosley, Jr.

Hannibal "Jim" Woosley, Jr. passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014. Jim was an Army verteran serving in the Korean War. He loved singing in a gospel quartet in church for many years and always listened to gospel music. He enjoyed going to Nolin Lake for fishing and camping and spending time with family and friend.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Hannibal and May Carter Woosley, Sr.; son, John Woosley and brother, Cliff Woosley.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Margaret Woosley; children, Judy Guttman, James Richard Woosley, Patricia Riddle, Carol Mae Kleutgen, Dakota Woosley and Jade Woosley; 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, March 31, 2014 from 4pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway). Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 1, 2014 beginning at 2pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel.

Burial will be at South Jefferson Cemetery, 10917 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272.
