Mr. H. Frederick Wineman, Sr., age 78, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2009 in Louisville, KY. He was born December 13, 1930 in Youngwood, PA, the third of five children born to the late Harry E. and Margaret Pyle Wineman. He was a graduate of Greensburg High School and was retired from Westinghouse-Powerex, Youngwood Division after 36 years. He was a Lutheran by faith and was involved in church choirs all his life. He sang in the Choralers for 38 years. He shared the love of his family, music, gardening and flowers with his wife of 55 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jean in 1943, and his brother, Jake in 2004.
He is survived by his loving wife Shirley Crusan Wineman of Louisville, KY; three children, Debra Kremer and husband Ed of Louisville, KY, Fred Wineman, Jr. and his wife Deborah of Centerville, TN, and Jennifer Kimberlee of Louisville, KY. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Jessica of Knoxville, TN., Matthew and Kimberlee, both of Louisville, KY.; one great-grandchild Claire Kremer of Louisville, KY.; one brother, George and his wife Barbara of Youngwood, PA.; and a sister Margaret Ellen Fullerton of N. Huntington, PA.; mother-in-law, Evelyn Cooper of Greensburg, PA.; and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
A service of remembrance will be held for Mr. Wineman's at 10 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2009 at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Greensburg, PA.
