Gregory Allen Stull, age 56, died peacefully at Clark Memorial Hospital in Clarksville, Indiana on Monday, December 14, 2015. Greg was born on October 24, 1959, in Dayton, Ohio and was raised in Tipp City, Ohio. He graduated from Tippecanoe High School in 1977 and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering from Purdue University in 1982. Greg enjoyed a prosperous career as an automotive engineer in the Detroit, Michigan area for many years. He was an avid reader, dog lover, and chef.
A memorial service was held in the chapel at St. Mark's United Church of Christ on Tuesday, December 15, 2015. Dr. John E. Manzo officiated the service. Funeral arrangements were handled by Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN 47150).
Greg is survived by his three children, Noelle M. Stull (Detroit, Michigan), Matthew A. Stull (El Cajon, California) and Ethan C. Stull (Detroit, Michigan); his loving and devoted parents, Douglas and Miriam (Freeze) Stull (Georgetown, Indiana); his sister, Sharon Stull Allen (Steve) (Georgetown, Indiana); nephews, Jason Allen (Chicago, Illinois), Benjamin Allen (Georgetown, Indiana); and niece, Olivia Allen Zimmerman (Joseph) (Champaign, Illinois). He is also survived by his two beloved canine companions, Hannah and Cooper.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to St. Mark's UCC Soup Kitchen (222 East Spring Street, New Albany, IN 47150) or the Wounded Warriors Project (P. O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675). The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of Clark Memorial Hospital for providing compassionate care as well as St. Mark's UCC for the outpouring of sympathy and support.
