Pastor Gregory David Rosa, 59, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, September 22, 2023. The light of God showed through Greg by how he lived his life, preaching the word of God and loving his wife, family and friends unconditionally. Greg was a true inspiration for how to walk by faith.
He was born on May 31, 1964 in Kokomo, Indiana to the late Jack, Sr. and Carmen (Shimer) Rosa. He married the love of his life on June 19, 1999, Cynthia Epperson, and this past summer they celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary.
Greg worked as a Senior Learning Professional for the past 13 years at Humana in Louisville. He was also employed by the United Methodist Church, serving as the pastor for both Pleasant View and Daisy Hill Churches in Borden, Indiana.
He was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers! Greg also enjoyed playing trivia and reading. He was a lifelong student, having obtained his master's degree, and never stopped his passion for education and learning. His true love and joy was his wife, Cindy, along with his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed watching their various activities and was proud of the young adults that they were becoming.
Greg is survived by his wife, Cynthia; brother, Jack Rosa, Jr. (Gail); mother and father-in-law, Paul and Leithea Epperson; brothers-in-law, Jeff Epperson (Starr), Tim Epperson (Cathy); niece and nephew, Jamie Mills, Noah Epperson; great-nieces and nephew, McKenna, Ashlyn, Brady; and many cousins and friends.
