Gregory P. "Greg" Reetz, 54, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Monday, February 1, 2011 at his home. Greg was a retired retail store manager for 2JR Pizza Hut. He loved music and was an excellent guitarist and musician.
Greg was born on November 13, 1956 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin to Helen J. (Zeh) and the late Robert L. Reetz.
Along with his mother, he is survived by his wife, Petra M. (Hernandez) Reetz of New Albany, Indiana; children, Phillip and Katie Reetz; step-children, Steven Kimble and his wife, Cassandra, of Clearwater, Florida, Theresa Pfiefer of Fontana, California; 5 step-grandchildren; brothers, Jeffrey T. Reetz and his wife, Julie, of Louisville, Douglas R. Reetz and his wife, Debbie, of Austin, Minnesota, Andrew J. Reetz and his wife, Janelle, of Selma, California; and several nieces and nephews.
His Memorial Service will be at 5:30 PM on Saturday, February 5 at Silver Street United Methodist Church (413 Silver Street, New Albany, IN 47150). Cremation was chosen following Greg's wishes.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Greg's memory be made to Hosparus - the Hospice Community of Southern Indiana (624 E. Market Street, New Albany, IN 47150).
