Greg R. Mues

Gregory (Greg) R. Mues, Esq., age 65 of Louisville passed away Thursday, January 5, 2012. Originally from Brooklyn, N.Y., and resident of Louisville since 1981, he started his career as an engineer at G.E. Engineering and Projects Operations. He attended St. John's Law School at night and upon graduation transitioned to corporate law within the G.E. company. He retired from G.E. in 2002 but continued to work in their legal operations as a retiree. He was an avid classic car fan and was in the process of restoring his classic 1965 GTO. As a gym enthusiast, he loved to work out at Urban Active. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. He was preceded in death by his parents Vincent and Dorothy Erbar Mues.

Greg is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Anna Lisi Mues; daughters, Christy Higdon (Chris) and Jone Mues; and also adored by his extended family and friends.

Funeral ceremony will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 9, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with entombment to follow in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-7p.m. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice of charity.
