Grayson Bledsoe, 83, of Louisville passed away on February 11, 2023 in Louisville.
He was born on August 1, 1939 in Columbia, KY to the late Norman and Jewell Bledsoe. Grayson retired from Armour Packing Company and also owned and operated Grayson Bledsoe Lawn Service. He enjoyed spending time at his farm, gardening, fishing, hunting, his beagles and Duke basketball. Grayson also loved to spend time with his family and friends, and going to sporting events for his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Leon Bledsoe, Johnny Bledsoe, and Bill Bledsoe; and his sister, Jeanette Kimbler.
Grayson is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Anna Katherine Casey Bledsoe of Louisville, KY; his children, Scott (Kirston) Bledsoe and Rickie (Jennifer) Bledsoe of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Brandon Dant, Sydney Fleming, Daniel Fleming, Ashley Bledsoe, Jessica Bledsoe, and Payton Bledsoe of Louisville, KY; sister, Shirley (Mick) Greene of Canton, OH; brother, Danny (Windfrey) Bledsoe of Burkesville, KY; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be from 1 P.M. to 6 P.M. on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive). A service to celebrate Grayson's Life will follow at 6 P.M. that evening.
