Gordon T. Wood

Gordon "Ted" Wood, age 49 of Louisville, passed away Friday, February 7, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Ted was born September 30, 1964 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He graduated from New Haven High School in 1982 and received an Associate Degree from Ball State. Ted was an avid sports fan and enjoyed working out, whether at the gym, riding his bike or playing golf. Ted was preceded in death by his father, Gordon J. Wood and sister, Sonja Wood.

Ted is survived by his mother, Judy Brown (Terry); sisters, Carma Houp (Brian) and Katie Brugh; nephews, Sam Franken, Mason Witt, Dylan Schwartz and Gavin Brugh. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends both Louisville and in Ft. Wayne.

A celebration of Ted's life will be 3pm, Saturday, March 1, 2014, with visitation from 1pm until time of service at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Ky.
