Goldie May Dennison

Goldie May (McGill) Dennison, 91, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023. Goldie was a devoted Christian, her motivating inspiration was love. Love for God, love for her family/friends, and helping others. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was born on April 18, 1932 in Louisville, Kentucky to William and Mae Etta (Lott) McGill. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Ishmael C. Dennison, Daughter, Patricia Figg, Father, William Russell McGill, Mother, Mae Etta McGill, Grandson, Justin Hart, Sister/Bestfriend, Darlene Schuster, as well as Three Brothers and Three Sisters.

Goldie is survived by her loving family, Children, Etta McGee, Laura (Johnny) Hart, Danny (Nora) Dennison, Steve (Mary Jo) Dennison, Becky Wolf, Ronnie Baker, Cindy (Chuck) Jones, and Dale Dennison; 13 Grandchildren and Numerous Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great-Grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, May 8, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 10:30 am on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (Central) in Radcliff, Kentucky.
