Gloria Delores Lyles passed away on February 4, 2023.
Gloria was born in Saginaw, MI on March 18, 1936 to parents Hilda Ida Oelfke and Richard R. Lucas. She grew up in Ludington, MI and Pentwater, MI before the family relocated to St. Louis, MO. She graduated from Kirkwood High School. She attended Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, MO where she met George Edward Lyles. They married on May 10, 1958 and would have celebrated their 65th anniversary this year.
Gloria was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed art, travel, interior design, college basketball, Louisville soccer, and many creative pursuits. She loved her role as wife, mother and grandmother. She dedicated herself to the support and wellbeing of her family. We are forever grateful to have had her love and guidance.
Gloria is survived and missed by her loving husband, George; her beloved children Scott (Tammy) Lyles of Lonedell, MO and Jennifer Ross of Elmhurst, IL; and her cherished granddaughter, Molly Lyles of St. Louis, MO.
