Gloria Jean Miller

Gloria Jean Cooper Miller, 81, of Jeffersonville, Indiana was called home, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease, on Saturday, November 1, 2014. She was born January 24, 1933 in Olive Hill, Kentucky, the daughter of Thomas and Daisy Cooper. She enjoyed crocheting, reading her Bible and spending time with family. She worked as an LPN and retired from BellSouth. She was married to Charles R. Miller for 64 years.

She is survived by her husband; sons Charles and Mark Miller; daughters Linda (Ron) Kramer, Susan (Charles) Brewer, Carol (Ray) Sims,Tiffany Miller; 10 grandchildren; Charles III, Derrick Bridges, Jessica Leasor, Michelle Waiz, Donald, Dustin and Michael Ridings, Kristin Romeo, Karen McCue, and Shawn Miller; 10 great-grand-children; brother James Cooper; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with service to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Alzheimers Association.
