Gloria Driskell

Gloria Jean Driskell, age 78 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away March 3, 2023 surrounded by love.
She was born in Murray, Kentucky on February 5, 1945 and adopted by the late James and May Barnett on May 9, 1946. Gloria was blessed to be a stay at home mom to all of her children. She was an avid member of the Louisville First Seventh-Day Adventist Church where she served as a head deaconess, a sabbath school teacher, and helping out anywhere else she was needed at church or school. Her favorite being telling the children's story. She was preceded in death not only by her parents but also her son, Ted Clifford whom she loved very much.

Gloria left behind to cherish her memory her husband of 42 years Jim; their children, Tina, Jimbo (Bonnie), Scott (Jody), Johnny (Amy), Angel, Stephanie (David); their loved grandchildren, Devin (meg), Jessica (Matt), Timmy (Shae), Ted (Rachel), Sara, Corey (Stephanie), Dustin (Hannah), Bryan (Stephanie), Courtney (Colton), Bradley (Kylie), Kennedy, Andrew, Mia, Tierra and Chase; and so so many immensely loved great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be 10am until noon on Friday, March 10, 2023 at Louisville First Seventh-day Adventist Church 2988 Newburg Road Louisville, Kentucky 40205. A celebration of Gloria's life will be there at noon, with burial to follow in Pennsylvania Run Cemetery.
