Gloria Ann Cowherd, 61, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2023. Gloria was a loving and devoted wife, mother, NeNe, daughter and sister. She enjoyed listening to music, watching the Game Show Network, and spending time with her grandchildren. Gloria will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
She was born on July 21, 1962 in Louisville, Kentucky to John and Dorothy (Cecil) Mills. She is preceded in death by her father, John Mills, Jr.; and sister, June Carolyn Mills.
Gloria is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Dewayne Cowherd; mother, Dorothy Mills; daughters, Nina (Justin) Grinestaff; Natalie Cowherd; son, Nicholas Cowherd, Nathan Cowherd; grandchildren, Isaiah Cowherd, Elijah Edelen; siblings, John Mills, Jim (Sandy) Mills; Regina (Doug) Green, Tony (Diane) Mills; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.
Visitation will be on Friday, August 4, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway.
