Glenn "Boy" Meyer Wilkins Jr., 65, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021.

He was born on August 25, 1955 in Louisville, Kentucky to Glenn and Dorothy (Simpson) Wilkins. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Paul "Boonie" Christian Wilkins.

Glenn served our country while enlisted in the U.S. Army and retired from Dupont Dow. He will be remembered for his artistic talents, his smile and his sense of humor. Glenn enjoyed riding his Harley and spending time with his family; Glenn was an amazing dad, grandpa and brother.

Glenn is survived by his life partner, Susan M. Downing, sons, Fred S. (Franci) Christopher, IV, Glenn Wilkins, III; grandchildren, Conner Christopher, Cole Christopher, Lilly Wilkins, Bishop Wilkins and Royal Wilkins, along with his siblings, Pamela English, Kaye (Kevin) Dempster, Perry Wilkins, Jeanne (Steve) Rohmann and Kyle Wilkins.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 12:30 pm on Monday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (Central) in Radcliff, Kentucky.

The family requests that contributions in Glenn's memory be made to the Lord's Kitchen or your local homeless shelter.
