It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our brother, Glenn Everett Pitchford, who left us on April 11, 2024. He was 66 years old.
Glenn, as he was fondly called by friends and family, was born on March 17, 1958 to the late Everett Devon and Margaret Ann Pitchford of Brooks, Kentucky. He graduated from the University of Louisville - Raymond A. Kent School of Social Work and Family Science. Glenn was formerly employed as Director of Admissions at TDI.
Glenn was a Christian man who always made time for his family and friends. He had a great sense of humor and always knew how to put a smile on everyone's face.
Glenn is survived by his siblings, Stewart Devon Pitchford (Holly), David Brownlee Pitchford (Lisa) and Laura Ann Clark (Doug); his nephew, Jack Oliver Pitchford; and a host of family and friends.
A celebration of Glenn's life will be held at 11am Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243.
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Orphanage Children's Home, 2823 Frankfort Ave, Louisville, KY 40206.
Glenn will be deeply missed by all who knew him and loved him. Rest in peace, you will always be in our hearts and memories.
