Glen Scott Phillips, "Scott/Scottie", age 59, passed away due to health complications on July 20, 2022, at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville, Ky. Scott served a tour in the Army, was stationed in Kansas and Germany. His love for our country was often a subject for his artistic talents with one of his pieces on display at the local VA hospital. Scott was very generous with his artwork and often gifted them to the people or places he painted. Scott will always be remembered for his gentle spirit, sweet smile, and kind heart.
Scott was born on April 4, 1963, to Glen Phillips and Joyce (Sperling) Fretty. He was married to the love of his life, Alabama, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his sister, Julie Catalasan, stepmother Jan Phillips, Aunt "Bump" Rosegotter, Aunt Loretta "Babe" Martin, Uncle Roger Sperling, several loving cousins, two nieces and one nephew.
A small memorial service will be scheduled for a later date for family and close friends.
