Gessica Lynn Jager

Gessica Lynn Jager, 27, passed away on June 12, 2024. She loved getting manicures and pedicures with her family. Gessica was a talented writer, artist and was very creative. She had a bubbly and giving personality and could always make you smile with her laugh. Gessica will be truly missed, but will forever live in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by brother, Gage Lankford; father, Christopher Jager; bonus father, Dwight Lankford cousins, Travis Brewer, Alisha Brewer; grandfather, Dale Heneisen and grandparents, William "Bo" and Judy Jager.

Gessica leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Tammy Lankford; grandmother, Doris Heneisen; brother, Grant Lankford; sisters, Gabrielle Perkins and Haley Lankford; aunts, Tonya Rumbaugh, Kelly Brewer and Lisa Hardesty; uncle, Michael Rumbaugh, Jr.; niece Kenzy Hill; nephew, Gavin Lankford; cousins, Josh Rumbaugh, Jaden Rumbaugh, Christian Richardson, Aaron Richardson, David Hardesty, Jennifer Hardesty, William Hardesty and numerous friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 26, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville KY, from 2pm-6pm with a celebration of Gessica's life beginning at 6pm.

The family asks that donations be made to the funeral home for Gessica's funeral expenses or on her Gofund me account under Support Gessica's Final Farewell.
