Gertie (Trudy) Bowling, 91, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 10, 2024.
She was a Catholic school teacher for the Archdiocese of Louisville for 35 years, most notably St. James School, for 23 of those.
Survivors include her son, Michael J. Bowling (Peggy); daughter, Jane M. Bowling Klein (Rolf); daughter, Julie A. Raque.
Funeral Mass: St. James Catholic Church / 1826 Edenside Ave - 40204 (entrance on Bardstown Rd) / 10 am / Saturday, April 20th, followed by Burial at Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation: Newcomer Cremations-Funerals / 235 Juneau Dr - 40243 / 5 -7 pm / Friday, April 19th.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Humane Society of the United States.
