Gerold Reed Coffey

Gerold R. Coffey gained his Heavenly wings on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at University of Louisville Hospital. He was born November 29, 1963 in Lexington Kentucky, the first child and only son to parents, Paul Vernon Coffey and Mary Arthur-Coffey.
Gerold accepted Christ into his life at a young age and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Lexington, Kentucky. He attended Seneca High School in Louisville where he competed in sports as a member of the track team. He graduated from Seneca in 1981 and went on to attend R.E.T.S. School of Electronics. Sometime afterwards, Gerold moved back to Lexington and went to work for the Housing Authority of Lexington. There he met Robin White and they were married in 2005.
Gerold leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Robin White Coffey, son, Aubrey White; granddaughter, A`brielle White; parents, Paul Vernon Coffey and Mary Arthur-Brown; sisters, Janet L. and Sandra G. Coffey; and nephew, Carlos G. Coffey. He also leaves behind many uncles and aunts, as well as a host of cousins, other relatives and friends that will surely miss him.
His Memorial Service will be held at Cadentown Baptist Church (2950 Cadentown Road, Lexington, KY 40509) on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 2:00 pm.
