Gerese Renee Crook

Gerese Renee Crook, 30, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. Gerese was a loving daughter, mom, sister, granddaughter, aunt, niece, and friend. She accepted Christ at a young age and was baptized. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a daddy's girl at heart. She was a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan and never missed a game. Her passion in life was doing hair and she loved every minute of it. Gerese had a heart of gold and will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was born on March 24, 1991 in Louisville, Kentucky to Gerald and Pamela (Maddox) Crook. She is preceded in death by her Grandmother, Sandra L. Maddox, Grandfather, Edward W Maddox, Great-Grandmother, Minnie G. Gilbert, and Great-Grandmother, Francis Shelly.

Gerese is survived by her loving family, Mother, Pamela S. Crook and Father, Gerald Ramont Crook; Children, Tashauna D. Anderson, Tyonna D. Anderson, Tyshaun D. Anderson, Tyjhaun D. Anderson, and Tyrese D. Anderson; Siblings, Shawnta N Crook and Tiera M. Crook; Niece, Noriya Carter; Grandmother, Yvonne Strain as well as a host of aunts, uncles, extended family, and friends to cherish her fun loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Home Going Service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.

The family requests that contributions in Gerese's memory be made to Center for Women and children.
