Geraldine Marie Jaco

Geraldine Marie Jaco, 83, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024. Geraldine was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She worked as a civil servant for Fort Knox from 1979 until 1986. Geraldine enjoyed spending time creating beautiful artwork by painting and drawing. She will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

She was born on December 26, 1940 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Roy and Grace Veach. She is preceded in death by her father, Roy Veach; mother, Grace Veach; husband, Matthew T. Jaco; and son, Michael Jaco.

Geraldine is survived by her loving family, son, Matthew P. (Geneva) Jaco; grandchildren, Amber Jaco, Matthew J.L. Jaco, Justin T. Jaco, Matthew R. Jaco, Rylee Jaco, Emily Nicole Gognat; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A celebration of her life will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (Central) in Radcliff, Kentucky.
