Gerald Don Pruitt

Gerald Don Pruitt, 81, of Louisville, KY gained his wings and began his new life in the promised land on Thursday, January 5, 2023. He was born on September 8, 1941 to the late Curtis & Helen Pruitt. He was a carpenter by trade and loved to build any and everything. He was a member of Lyndon Independent Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memory are his 6 children; Debbie Smith (David); Laura Eger (Jerry); Troy Pruitt (Kristel); Crystal Gordon (William); April Prather (Brooks) and Dwayne Pruitt (Whitney). He also leaves behind 2 sisters; Loretta Carroll and Glinda Arnett, as well as 17 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 10am to 12noon at Lyndon Independent Baptist Church 1628 Roosevelt Ave, Lyndon, KY 40242, with a celebration of Gerald's life there at noon, officiated by Pastor Kevin Housley.
