Gerald Thomas Peake, Jr., 51, of Louisville was called to home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, December 27, 2011.
He was a beloved husband, dad, son, Pa Pa and brother. He was a graduate of the University of Alabama in Huntsville where he achieved his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business. He was a huge Chicago Cubs fan, coached little league youth baseball, and was a member of Southeast Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Elizabeth; daughter, Della Wilmoski (Greg); two sons: Gerald Peake III, and Nicholas Peake; grandson, Dylan Wilmoski; parents: Gerald and Donna Peake; two brothers: Jeffrey Peake and Joseph Peake; two sisters: Cyndi Godsey (Carlton) and Juli Peake and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is on Thursday, December 29, 2011 from 3-7 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive. Funeral Service is Friday December 30, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, with burial to follow in Floydsburg Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
