Gerald Allen Kimbrough, Sr.

Gerald Allen Kimbrough, Sr., 63, of Indianapolis, Indiana, formerly of New Albany, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2011. Gerald was a U.S. Army veteran and had served proudly in Vietnam. He retired from Rand & McNally Printing Company and had lived in the Indianapolis area for over 30 years.

Gerald is survived by his children, Gerald A. Kimbrough, Jr., Gerri Lynn Miller, Eric Kimbrough, & Mia Hairston (Kevin); father, William Finley; siblings, Lisa Finley, William Finley, Jr., Michelle Carter (Juan), Charlene H. Good, Calvin Holland, & James Holland (Victoria); 2 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts & uncles. He is preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte (Kimbrough) Holland and his father, Clarence Holland.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM on Friday, September 16, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 11 AM on Saturday, September 17, in the Paul F. Kraft, Sr. Memorial Chapel at the funeral home with burial and military honors to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville.
