George Whitehead, Jr., 66, passed away on February 5, 2013.
George was born on December 31, 1946, in North Vernon, Indiana to the late Doris & George Whitehead, Sr. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army.
George is survived by his children; Scott Whitehead (Brittney), Donna Richardson; grandchildren, Elizabeth Parker, Egypt Whitehead, Stephanie, Bethany, Jessica, Andrea, & Joshua East; great-granddaughter, Aysha; & many other nieces, nephews, & other relatives. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Charlie Whitehead & Jim Whitehead; and his sister, Helen Wilds.
A Memorial Visitation will be on Saturday, February 9, 2013 from 4 PM to 6 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN 47150). His Memorial Service will immediately follow at 6 PM at the funeral home.
