George Henry White Sr.,76, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024.
He was born on January 20, 1948 in Shelbyville, Kentucky to John Elliot White, Sr. and Nora Christine White . He is preceded in death by parents John Elliot White Sr, and Nora Christine White ; Brothers, Robert L White, Eric D. Boyd; Step-Son, Vickie Boyd; Step-Daughter and Son, Lamont Hurt.
George was a loving father, devoted uncle and loyal friend. He enjoyed spending time with
his family lounging by the lake catching fish and hunting or watching his favorite team (U of L) play on T.V.
He was a very hard worker. Being a Butcher for over 45 years. He later retired from Memphis Meats. He was also member of Derby City Truck Club LLC and a member of Elk Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Taylorsville, Kentucky .
George is survived by his children, Daughter, Monica White; (Kevin)Sons, George (Sherion) White, George Greene; Step-Sons, Anthony Boyd,(Sheila)Philip Boyd; (Lynnese)Brother, John E White, Jr.; Sisters, Sarah Perry, and Mary (Johnny) White. 25 grandchildren and 18 great and hosts of neices, nephews, cousins and friends.
George leaves to cherish fond memories with his love Jacqueline Pritchard.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 26, from 11:00am to 2:00pm, with a service to follow at 2:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Dr. Louisville KY, 40243. Burial will take place at Simpson Memorial Garden cemetery.
