George Washington Craigmyle Jr., 89, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 in Louisville, Kentucky.
George was born on July 15, 1926 in West Port, Kentucky to George Sr. and Edith( Roney) Craigmyle. He was an Army veteran and a long time member at Walnut Street Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky where he operated the sound system and camera. George enjoyed his family and riding his scooter to Taco Bell.
Along with his parents George was preceded in death by his wife, Freda Craigmyle, great-grandson, Kayden Byrd. He is survived by his daughter, Lynnetta Cade; brother, Clarence "Sonny" Craigmyle (Susie); sister, Frances Fraley; 3 grandchildren; Travis, Kayla, and Daniel Byrd, 2 great- grandchildren; Trayton Byrd, and Jazzlyn Williams.
A memorial visitation will be from 10AM to 1PM on Monday, September 14, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with his service to follow at 1PM with burial to follow at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison, Indiana.
