George Thomas Stewart

George Thomas "Bubby" Stewart, 57, passed away on November 10, 2013. He was a huge Louisville Cardinals fan and never missed a game. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a nurse at several nursing homes. Bubby always had everyone laughing with his sense of humor.

He is preceded in death by his parents; George Leslie Stewart and Ruth Irma Miles; brothers, Ronald Brown and Gilbert Todd and sister Sheryl Todd.

He is survived by his son, Darryl Powell; grandchildren, Darryl Powell, Jr., Dajah Powell, and Jamesha Johnson; brothers, Jerry Todd, Morris Todd, and DeWayne Robertson; sisters, Sandra Todd, Grace Todd, Vera Handley, Virginia Byrd and Beverly Ford; a host of nieces and nephews; Powell family, Carolyn Powell, Leslie Powell, Michael Powell, Charmaina Johnson and Christina Powell.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 16, 2013, at Caanan Christian Church, 2840 Hikes Lane, Louisville, KY from 11am-1pm with services beginning at 1pm.
