George W. "Skip" Steier age 63 was whispered to come home to be with his Heavenly Father on May 20, 2013. He served in The United States Coast Guard. Skip was the family historian and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Skip was preceded in death by his parents George and Dottie Steier. He is survived by his wife Denise Steier of 40 years, daughter Melissa Steier, son Brett Steier (Kristin), granddaughter Chelcie Nesbitt, expecting a grandson in July, great-granddaughter Chloe Nesbitt. A brother Terry Steier (Jean) and neices Sarah and Amanda Steier.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
Visitation will be Thursday May 23, 2013 from 4-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 235 Juneau Drive Louisville,Ky . Service will be Friday at 10am with burial to follow at Calvery Cemetery.
