George P Schulte

June 30, 1936 — February 3, 2025

Schulte, George P., age 88, of Corydon, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 3, 2025. 

George is preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Anna (Meyer) Schulte, his loving wife, Dolores Helen Schulte, daughter, Valarie Ann Schulte, and siblings, Gertrude Schulte, Bernard Schulte, Joyce Elliott, and Joseph Schulte.

He is survived by his children, Denise G. Kifer, Frances Lasley, Patricia (Jim) Mersmann, Jean (Samuel II) Wolfe, 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and many extended family and friends. 

George spent his entire working career in the diagnostic imaging (x-ray) profession, specializing in cardiac imaging. George loved bass fishing, and was an avid model railroad fan. He loved and enjoyed many hours with his devoted family. 

The family will receive friends from 12:00pm to 8:00pm on February 10, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN) with praying of the rosary at 7:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church in New Albany on February 11, 2025 at 11:00am.

The family requests that contributions in George’s memory be made to St Joseph Catholic School in Corydon, IN.
