George Burnette Martin

George Burnette Martin, 74, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024. George was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was a race enthusiast and a computer guru. He enjoyed following women's golf, was a master of trivia and was known to have a sweet tooth.

He was born on October 18, 1949 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late George E. Martin and Linda (Loman) Armstrong. 

George is survived by his daughters, Crystal Butrick (Keith) and Sara Taylor; siblings, Winifred Scalf, Russell (Denise) Martin, Steve (Donna) Martin, and Paul (Tammy) Martin; grandchildren, Chad (Melissa) Martin, Ronin Taylor, and Tobias Taylor. 

Cremation was chosen following George's wishes and no services will be held at this time.
