George Melvin "Buzz" Coleman, 68, of Sellersburg, Indiana passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2014 in Louisville, Kentucky.
Buzz was born on March 30, 1946 in New Albany, Indiana to the late George M. & Minnie M. (Henderson) Coleman. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran who served in The United States Army. Buzz loved to golf and was a very loyal member at Speed Golf Course.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Loretta (Sharp) Coleman; daughter, Carla Coleman; sisters, Linda Foor (Don), Janet Phelps, & Janie Davis (Brent); and 15 nieces & nephews; mother-in-law, Ruth Sharp; sister-in-law, Delores Sharp.
His Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana) and from 10 AM to 12 PM on Wednesday, December 3. His Funeral Service will be at 12 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery.
