George Allen Hayden

George Allen Hayden, 88, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023. He was a member of First Baptist Anchorage under Rev. Dixon and Rev. Muir. George was an employee Fisher's Packing company for over 40 years. He loved fishing, hunting and sports, especially the Kentucky Wildcats. George was also a proud veteran of the United States Army.

He was born on December 25, 1934 in Eminence, Kentucky to the late Walter and Bertha (Simms) Hayden. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Constance "Connie" Hayden; brothers, Walter Hayden, Jr., Roy Hayden, and June Cecil; sisters, Lorena Armstrong, Anna B. Lewis, and Dorothy Fields.

George is survived by his sons, Alan Hayden and David Hayden; daughter, Veronica Hayden; sister, Henrietta Hayden Henry; grandchildren, Anthony Hayden, Ryan Walter Hayden Sowell, Mya Hayden, and Landon Hayden; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Newcomer, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive). His Funeral Service will follow that day at 12:00 PM at the funeral home with burial following at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in New Castle, Kentucky.
