George “Dan” Hatton, age 73 of Louisville, Kentucky went home to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. He was born in Logan, WV to George W. Hatton, Jr. and Emma Frances Taylor Hatton. He was of the Christian faith, a Vietnam Veteran, and a radio broadcaster.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Chalise Hatton; Ryan Hatton (Kelly) and Taylor Hatton Greene (David); his grandchildren, Madalyn Miller; Cooper Hatton and Bowen Greene who affectionately knew him as “Grumpy”; his brother, Jody Stowers (Lisa); and sisters, Janice Farmer, Beverly Johnson (Randy), Deborah Hatton, Linda Mills, and Amy Stowers; and several nieces, nephews and many friends. He is also survived by his precious Miniature Dachshunds, Doc, Koby, and Annie and grand-dog Lucy.
The family would like to thank his Oncology team at the Charles and Mimi Osborn Cancer Center with Baptist Health and Hosparus Health.
Visitation will be from 10am to 12pm on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243, with a celebration of Dan's life at 12pm there. Burial will follow in Floydsburg Cemetery, Crestwood, Kentucky.
The family asks that memorials in Dan's name be made to the Kentucky Humane Society or Kentucky Dachshund Rescue.
