George L. Felker, Sr. "Hot Shot", 74, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023.
He was born on May 18, 1949 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Walter and Reba (Barnett) Felker . Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Jaggers.
George retired from the City of Louisville as a Transportation Supervisor. He loved camping with his nephew, David Gnau, fishing and going to Rough River. George was the life of the party, spending time with his family and friends with a Bud Light in his hand was a pretty good time in his mind.
George is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Judy A. Felker, daughter, Reba (Sam) Gilbert, son, George Felker, Jr., grandchildren, Samantha Mills, Raymond Barker and three additional grandchildren, great grandchild, Raylynn Barker, and his siblings, Nina Nelson, Billy Felker and Pat Kendall.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, December 13th at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 14th at the funeral home with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
