George A. Eddleman II, 67, of Louisville passed away peacefully on December 18, 2013.
George was born November 25, 1946 in Louisville, KY. George proudly served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1969. He enjoyed everything U of K, especially football and was a season ticket holder. George had a big heart for dogs, especially the Dobermans he raised. He was a history buff, especially anything military related. George was kind hearted and will be missed by all who knew him. He owned his company, C&G Appliance, often doing work pro bono for those in need.
George is preceded in death by his parents.
George is survived by his dear friend, Judy Jamison, and her family: Chris Merle, Tricia Merle, Jan (Carl) Wolf, and Carleigh Wolf; and many friends and neighbors.
A memorial service will be held Friday, January 3, 2013 at 11:00am at Newcomer Funeral Home – Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). Visitation will be held from 10:00am until time of service. Burial with full Military Honors will follow at 1:00pm at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY.
