George Richard Eberle

George Richard Eberle, 74, of Louisville, KY, passed away on February 25, 2023. He was an Army veteran that proudly served his country. Richard loved working on cars and was restoring a '29 Ford Sedan for his son, Josh. He was very proud of the the lake house that he built on Rough River and enjoyed spending time there. You could always find Richard working on something and working in the yard.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Eberle, Sr. and his mother, Ruth (Donald) Benfield Eberle O'Neill.

Richard leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Rhonda Eberle; son, Josh R. Eberle; siblings, Ruth Ann (Jimmy) Duncan, Charles L. (Jewel) Eberle, Jr., Rose Mary (Mike) Leezer and William M. Eberle; fur babies, Hansel and Gretel and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 5, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 10am-2pm with a celebration of Richard's life beginning at 2pm.
