George Clay Soete

George Clay Soete, age 72 of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015. He was the owner of his own industrial cleaning and chemical business. George was a member of Southeast Christian Church, where he and his wife were co-leaders of the Marriage Mentoring Ministry. He loved Jesus, life, his church, adored his wife and his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Catherine Ubelhart Soete.

George is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Cassie; his children, Angie McDermott (Terry), Missy Soete, Tricia Lipp (Chuck), Christie Wilson (Wayne), Jeff Soete (Michele) and Cassie Hallberg (Brian); grandchildren, Megan, Clay, Davis, Ethan, Sims, Stuart, Marie, Aaron, Ryan, Hayley, Ashley and Baby#12; siblings, Rick Soete (Karen), Judy Green (Joe) and Kathy Piersol (Bob); and a host of family and friends.

Funeral ceremony will be 1pm Monday, April 13, 2015 at Southeast Christian Church, 920 Blankenbaker Parkway, Louisville, KY. Visitation will be Sunday, April 12th at Southeast Christian Church, Fellowship Room I from 3:30-8pm, and on Monday 11am-12:45pm in the Fireside Room.
