George Allan Huth

George Allan Huth, 24, of Floyds Knobs, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2012. A 2005 graduate of Floyd Central High School, Allen played soccer and performed in the marching band. He had a love for animals, and his interests included snow skiing, computer games, and astrology. Allen attended IUS and worked in the chemistry lab and as a tutor. He anticipated his graduation and upcoming career in the chemistry field.

Allen was born on February 28, 1987 in San Antonio, Texas to George E. Huth and Theresa (Garrett) Larson.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandparents, George "Buzzy" and Betty Huth; half brother, Dakota Parmely; aunts, Betsy Huth and Kim Fredick (Mark); uncles, Michael Huth, Edward Huth (Susan Wagoner), and Terry Hayes; great aunt and uncle, Gail and John Collins; and 12 cousins.

Visitation will be from 12 to 8 PM on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 10 AM on Thursday at the funeral home followed by burial at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Cemetery.
