Generose Marie Hayes, 79, passed away unexpectedly on July 5, 2022. She was born on July 5, 1943, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late William Sanders and Theresa Mooney, and was raised alongside two siblings. She went on to raise three children.
Generose retired from General Electric after 25+ years. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes. She loved spending time with her family.
Generose leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Jim (Diane) Hayes, Jennifer (Patrick English) Williams, Jonathan (Cynthia Wilson) Hayes; her sisters, Julie (Frank) Artman & Cindy (Mike Shane) Ballinger; her grandchildren, Stephanie (Stephen) Roth, Crystal (Billy) Butler, and Bobby (Brittany) Hayes, Christopher (Amanda) Williams, Matthew Williams, Spencer Williams, Hannah (Alex Berger) Hayes, and Jonathan "Drew" Hayes; her great-grandchildren, Jude, Nolan, Elam, Ellie, Rowan, Sadey, Nora, Walker, and one on the way, Jonathan.
Visitation will be on Monday, July 11, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243) from 4:00pm – 8:00pm, as well as on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 12:00pm – 1:00pm, with services beginning at 1:00pm. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery (1600 Newburg Road, Louisville, KY 40213).
