Gene Henderson, 78, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023.
He was born on January 8, 1945 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Lewis and Audrey (Bruce) Henderson. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Juanita Harshfield, Robert and Bubby Henderson.
Gene retired from Dynacraft. He was an avid outdoorsman; fishing and hunting. Gene loved to sing, play his guitar, working on cars and genuinely having a good time; he had a personality that would keeping a smile on your face. His family was everything to him; he loved spending time with them every chance he got. Gene had a heart of gold and an abundance of patience, he leaves a strong legacy that will forever be carried on through the ones he loved the most.
Gene is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Sharon Henderson, sons, Robert and Anthony Henderson and his 7 children, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and his brother, Jerry Henderson, along with many other extended family and friends that will miss him very much.
