Gene Cornette,51, left this earth on October 25, 2012.
He enjoyed coaching the Northeast YMCA girl's soccer team, golfing, fishing,camping, Nascar, UofL sports, and spending time with his family. Gene attended Ahrens High School, and worked in sales for many years. He was born October 22, 1961 in Louisville, Kentucky.
Gene was preceded in death by his mother Anna L. (Keaton) Cornette, and his father Clive Cornette. Gene is survived by his wife Donna (Schepers) Cornette, daughter Caitlyn Cornette, sister Billie Mokk (Jeff), nephew Devin Morkin, great nephew Xzaiver Morkin, sister-in-law Kelly Hornback(John), aunts, cousins, and many friends.
Visitation is on Monday, October 29, 2012 from 1:00 - 6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Dr with funeral to follow at 6:00 PM.
